A family kitchen roaming the world: Thai curry, ceviche, and jambalaya.
Tzoco, pronounced SoCo, means “little one” in Náhuatl, a nod to the owners’ ancestral language and to a small bistro on Matheson Street. The name also reads as shorthand for Sonoma County, the place and the growers the kitchen leans on.
The menu travels: capellini pomodoro, Cuban ropa vieja, tostones with mojo, salmon piccata, all cooked by one family in one room. Lunch and dinner are served daily except Tuesday, and the walk from Duchamp is about six minutes.
