The Afterglow Fire Pit Area
When the sun sets on Fitch Mountain and the courtyard cools, our fire pit area becomes the evening gathering place for guests at Duchamp. Comfortable seating, low light, and the mesmerizing dance of the flames, all make for a relaxing end to a full day in wine country.
We call it the Afterglow because that is exactly what it is. The literal glow of the fire against the blue hour sky, and the emotional afterglow of a day well spent. Guests gather here without planning to. Conversations start between strangers and new friends are made. No one is in a hurry for the evening to end.
