The Camber Team

  • A collective of chefs, planners and creative partners
  • Collaborators drawn from celebrated restaurant kitchens
  • Dedicated service professionals and a wine steward at every dinner
  • Direct relationships with local farmers, ranchers, fishermen and vintners

Chef David Carey built Camber Events on a simple idea: that a dinner is made by more than the person cooking it. The farmers, the winemakers, the servers, the room itself. His team works across Napa and Sonoma with the precision of a restaurant kitchen and the ease of people who have done this a thousand times. At Duchamp, that means every detail is handled before your first guest arrives.

Camber arrives with everything an evening needs, down to the china. The team draws on close relationships with local farmers, ranchers, fishermen, vintners and artisans, and many of its collaborators come from celebrated restaurant kitchens. Every menu is built for the table it is served to, around your personal preferences, the season, and the wines in the glass. Service professionals and a wine steward look after the room so guests are always well attended to.

At Duchamp, Camber Fine Dining Events are served at The King's Table or in The Living Room, by advance reservation only. See Private Fine Dining at Duchamp

One

The Winemaker's Dinner

A four-course dinner built around a single winery's bottles, served at The King's Table for up to twenty. Camber develops each menu with the winemaker, so the food is written to the wine rather than the other way around. Ingredients come from growers Camber knows by name.

Two

Rehearsal Dinners and Celebrations

The night before a wedding, a milestone birthday, an engagement. Camber has spent years on the wedding side of Wine Country, and it shows in the pacing: canapes on the deck as the sun goes down, then dinner plated, family style, or laid out as a display, whichever suits the room you want.

Guests in jackets and suits gathered around a long table of plated courses and poured red wine at a private corporate dinner.
Three

Corporate Gatherings

Executive dinners, retreats, client evenings and team celebrations. Camber handles culinary direction, service flow and on-site coordination, which is the part that usually goes wrong and the part nobody notices when it goes right.

Reservations for all private fine dining and culinary experiences are subject to the chefs' availability and must be made well in advance of your arrival. For more information, and to start planning your experience today, call our front desk for concierge assistance at 707-431-1300. Four to six weeks' advance notice is suggested.
