Agave Mexican Restaurant & Tequila Bar

Agave keeps a Taste of Oaxaca section on its menu and a mole negro built the long way, alongside molotes of corn masa with chorizo and epazote, ceviche, enmoladas, and fish tacos. The bar pours mezcal and tequila with the same seriousness the kitchen gives the mole.

It sits on Vine Street south of the Plaza, a casual room set up for families and long tables. Lunch and dinner, about twelve minutes on foot from Duchamp, or a short drive.
