Our Grove Garden Level Suites are less a hotel room and more like a private residence. At a total of 660 square feet*, with ten-foot ceilings and your own covered patio overlooking the lawn beneath the mature Pistache trees, each beautifully appointed suite opens as a studio: a cozy living area for reading or a night in with a good series, a king bed and nightstands, a kitchen table for two, and a kitchenette built around a Smeg refrigerator and freezer, with a cutting board, knife, plates, utensils, glassware & poolware all on hand. Guests have been known to literally arrive with groceries in hand and settle in for days, more the way you would in a friend's guest house than a hotel.
The Grove sits at the north end of our property, the stillest corner of Duchamp Healdsburg. Your patio looks across open lawn to rows of mature Pistache trees, uplit at night, and the lobby is just a short walk away without passing through a single gate. With a side entrance to our private parking lot just a few steps from this building, The Grove Suites are the easiest to slip in and out of, and the quietest to come home to.
Every suite was carefully designed, curated and appointed by a high-end interior designer, with large windows, blackout shades, and beautiful furnishings throughout. The feeling is calm, spacious, approachable luxury, and entirely your own.
The kitchenette is intimate by design, yet wants for nothing. There is a Nespresso machine for a proper morning coffee, handmade coffee cups from a local artisan, and fine glassware for beer, wine, and champagne, with a matching poolware set that looks and feels like glass but is made not to break. The plates and utensils are handsome bamboo, reusable and kind to the landfill, and a compact microwave is available on request at check-in. A welcome bottle of water greets you upon arrival, and the refrigerator and counter are both stocked with a great selection of drinks and snacks. Slice up an apple and some cheese, throw in some salami, open a bottle of wine, and carry your charcuterie board out to your own private patio.
Throughout the suite, the LED lighting is warm and fully dimmable, with reading lamps and individually controlled overhead reading lights, so you can set the mood for your evening exactly the way you like it.
Settling in is easy: a granite-topped cabinet to land your suitcase on, an in-room safe in the drawer below, and a coat closet that holds hanging clothes, shoes, and slippers, with plush robes, an iron and board, and a garment steamer tucked inside.
The bathroom is your own private oasis of calm: dual vanities beneath a frameless lighted mirror, a magnifying makeup mirror, and a curbless oversized walk-in shower with floor-to-ceiling polished granite and glass. A private water closet means one of you can be at the vanity or in the shower while the other has use of the water closet behind its own door, and the entire bathroom area closes off from the bedroom with a pocket door. A hairdryer, pool towels, bath towels, and Salt & Stone bath amenities are stocked and waiting.
