Flying Goat has roasted in Healdsburg since the 1990s, buying through direct relationships with growers and roasting for clarity rather than char. The Roastery cafe at 419 Center Street is where the roaster itself runs behind the counter.
There is more room to sit here, more beans to choose from, and the smell of the day’s roast. The Plaza cafe at 300 Center Street is a few blocks closer to the square. A short walk from Duchamp.
